"Success is not the destination; it's the journey that matters."
Landing in Canada on May 19, 2022, marked the beginning of a transformative journey for me. I embarked on my academic pursuit at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) in Surrey, enrolling in the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Technical Management and Services. I successfully completed the program in August 2023.
Hustling Through the Studies
While studying, I juggled multiple jobs to support myself. From detailing cars to working as an Amazon Associate, a Distribution Associate at Loblaws Companies, and even taking up shifts at Tim Hortons and in construction, I learned the value of hard work and perseverance.
New Beginnings in Prince George
Upon graduating, I moved to Prince George on a work permit and joined PepsiCo as a Sales Representative. Simultaneously, I worked as a Shipper at Lordco Auto Parts. My journey at Lordco was fulfilling, but after some time, I transitioned to Carl’s Jr. In February, I traveled to India to celebrate my sister’s wedding, a joyous occasion that brought the family together.
A Tough Decision and a New Path
Returning to Canada in March, I made the difficult decision to resign from PepsiCo after two months. This was a challenging moment in my career, but it opened the door to new opportunities. I soon found my calling in the healthcare sector, joining AimHi as a Life Skills Trainer, working for Community Living BC (CLBC) and the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
Reflecting on the Journey
Each step of this journey has shaped me into the person I am today. From the relentless hustle during my studies to the strategic career shifts, every experience has been a learning opportunity. I am grateful for the support of my family, friends, and mentors who have guided me along the way.

Looking Forward
As I continue to grow in my career, I am excited about the future and the possibilities it holds. My experiences have taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of following one's passion. Here's to new adventures and continuous growth!
